Two new proven sires! The polled offer has become even broader.
New proven bulls
LORBAS P (Lucky x Renato x Pasternak) has been the most widely-used SF-bull over the last two years and can meet high expectations to a large extent. Although he significantly loses through milk yield, he can shine with his high components and super udders. His beef quality is within the good range. The cows are of medium-size with lots of expression and good rumps. LORBAS P occupies a top spot with 1280 ISET and he is suitable for pasture and robotic operations. With sexed semen and SpermVital.
SEMINO (Roxel x Alfredo x Wilg): The first Roxel-son SEMINO, from the famous show cow Alfredo SOMALIA EX-94 occupies the top spot for Swiss Fleckvieh bulls with 1310 ISET by total breeding value. His dam SOMALIA is already in her 8th lactation with over 80,000 kg milk with 4.65% fat and 3.45% protein. SEMINO impresses with his strong conformation heredity that meets all requirements. With 36 lactating daughters the high fat content of +0.56% stands out in particular. The protein content of +0.18% is also significantly above average. As regards beef yield, he has significantly exceeded his father Roxel with IVF 106. SEMINO is an ideal pasture bull and has also earned the Robot Label.
Proven bulls
BEHRAMI P (Propel x Benua x Incas): With 225 daughters in milk he is increasing to an incredible +1,402 kg of milk and is the top performing Swiss Fleckvieh sire. He is progeny from the high-yield cow family with dam Benua BAILEYS, who has produced over 80,000 kg milk in seven lactations and is now pregnant again. Following directly behind are three 100,000 litre cows. BEHRAMI P also impresses with his fitness traits with good udder health, ideal milk flow, good fertility and easy calving.
SWAT (Florino x Odyssey x Bond): The first Florino-son was widely used as a young bull and also used as a sire thanks to his attractive profile. In addition to conformation, he also has good indexes for content, beef indexes and top sperm fertility (NRR 110). Available conventionally and with sexed semen!
ASLAN (Kilian x Morris x Anjou) was proclaimed Grand Champion-Cow amongst fierce competition at the Expo Bulle at the end of March. In addition to conformation, the first Kilian-son also impresses in fitness, with moderate sacrum height, BB and clear breeding values for milk yield. This makes ASLAN a widely used modern sire!
ROXEL (Sarino x Incas x Usrer) was the second-highest selling proven SF-bull in the Swiss market in the last 12 months thanks to his balanced strengths in conformation. The son of the famous two-time Swiss Expo Champion Incas ROXANE EX-96 3E is also available sexed with sexed semen.
HAMILTON P (Hardy x Dembro x Stadel), LAIKO P (Hardy x Blitz x Zappa), SAMU PP (Laptop x Rally x Joyboy), DARVIDO P offer every breeder a wide selection of polled bulls with high reliability for the respective breeding values.
TORNADO (Odyssey x Stadler x Seewilio), like the widely used FLORINO, comes from the famous Stadler FLEURETTE EX-96 5E, dual-purpose breed Supreme Champion at the Swiss Expo. Also available with sexed semen.
New Optimis (genomic)
KIMO P (Lorbas x Incas x Voltaire) comes from an extremely long-living cow family with three generations of maximum scoring cows. The dam was a successful show cow in her youth. Grand-dam Voltaire SALOME presented a fine breed family in 2021. In her lineage we find numerous sires known for their longevity.
Optimis (genomic)
HARRI PP (Hardy x Van Gogh x Incas): His grand-dam is the eleven-year old Incas-daughter LEA who has recently calved for the 10th time and has a lifetime milk yield of 99,000 kg. This is reflected in the breeding values of HARRI PP who shines with high values for longevity and fertility. The Hardy-son also has other things to offer: BB, A2/A2, good components and the rare combination of positive milk flow/good milk quality. But HARRI PP impresses in particular in conformation where he is the best polled SF bull by total score for conformation and for udders. He is also available with sexed semen!
GIBBS PP (Gin Tonic x Hamilton x Orson), CORBAS P (Lorbas x Incas x Laramy) stand out as ideal sires for cheese production operations: They are BB, have lots of content and positive values for milk quality. The polled young bulls also have the Pasture Label.
RAMIRO PP (Lorbas x Hardy x Escada) combines in the pedigree two of the most popular polled sires of the breed, as the first son of the popular LORBAS P from the first Hardy-daughter. He has a balanced profile (all partial breeding values are positive) and with an NRR of 118 he has outstanding fertility.
